All insurances are optional. We can provide you with the following insurances through CSA / Generali (Except that we are currently not allowed to provide these to residents of the States of New York and Hawaii but they do cover international guests);

  • Damage Insurance – this is typically added as part of your reservation instead of  a security deposit
  • Travel Insurance – this is optional but strongly advised, so as to avoid financial losses due to cancellation and other issues as a result of covered events

Damage Waiver Fee/Damage Insurance

  • Our standard policy gives you $1500 of coverage for $35 fee
  • If you cancel your reservation, then we will cancel your damage insurance, as long as you have not started your vacation
  • Encourages Guests to report all damage as there is no cost to you for covered events
  • We can complete the claim form for you and deal with all communication on the claim

  • What is covered?

    • Accidental or unintentional damage by the guest
    • Accidents or unintentional damage from pets if in pet-approved rental property
    • Theft by third party provided a police is report filed

     

 

  • What we will pay

    • The lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property

     

 

  • What is not covered?

    • Negligent or malicious damage
    • Damage or losses caused by violation of lease (e.g. damage from cigarettes when smoking is prohibited)
    • Normal wear and tear
